Clay and Sloan’s Gruene Texas Wedding
Clay and Sloan were such a fun couple to work with! We are so honored they chose to have their Gruene Texas wedding at Gruene Estate. It was a special wedding! What set their wedding apart? It’s all in the details. When brides are planning their wedding, they often focus on the big picture items. This is ok. However, don’t forget that little details go a long way. Sloan and Clay had a beautiful winter wedding at Gruene Estate because they focused attention on those important small wedding details. They created an event that was perfect for them!
Sloan and Clay said in “I do” in Gruene Estate’s open air wedding chapel. While this space is stand alone beautiful, they chose to elevate the decor by adding a small floral and greenery installation on our hanging chandelier. Installations are a fabulous way to add texture, color, and eye popping gorgeousness to any space. Hanging installations are ideal for grabbing your guest’s attention the moment they enter your event space. In addition, they make for great photo backdrops too.
Head Tables
We have seen lots of Gruene Texas weddings over the last decade. A head table is a must have for most brides and grooms. Here Clay and Sloan turn their guests attention to themselves by placing their head table and wedding party front and center. In the past, burlap was very popular. Burlap is out and greenery and floral runners are in. Greenery is a fabulous way to extend the bridal budget and add some color and texture to your tables. Mission accomplished here!
Mix and Match
Sloan and her bride tribe absolutely crushed it by having her bridesmaids where mix and match bridesmaid’s’ dresses and fur shawls for the cool weather. Notice the light color tone of blues and greens in juxtaposition with the red and pink roses. The color combination creates a dramatic pop that is so swoon worthy! Mix and match bridesmaids dresses are huge right now! The advantage is that each bridesmaid can choose the best dress for her, so everybody looks stunning!
Gruene Texas Wedding Chapel
One aspect we love about Gruene Estate is how versatile of a space our wedding venue is. Casual, elegant, boho, or rustic, the venue straddles the line so well!
Clay and Sloan stick to their roots. We would describe their Gruene Texas wedding as rustic elegance. Clay keeps it casual but sophisticated with a blazer and jeans combo. Sloan looks stunning in her lace hour glass cut wedding dress with a traditional veil. Veils are a nod to traditional design and style. They both look stunning and of course they are totally in love!
Bride Tribe
One of our favorite parts of weddings at Gruene Estate is that we get to know our brides and her friends. Seeing so much love a friendship on weekly and daily basis is beautiful! Here Sloan hangs out with her #bridetribe in Gruene Estate’s historic bridal suite and original Gruene family home. These matching bridesmaids robes are the ideal gift for your girls. No matter what bridesmaids gifts you choose to give, make sure it something that they will enjoy! You know them best, so the possibilities are endless.
