Let’s do something different! After a while, weddings start to look the same. Our goal was to create a styled shoot that utilized Gruene Estate’s farm setting and natural spaces in a different way. Our original open air chapel is the corner stone of the Gruene Estate brand, and we have never had a ceremony that was performed outside of the chapel.  While still using the structure in the back drop, the decision was made to stage the ceremony and reception in a different space.

Gruene Estate is a versatile venue that offers different setup options.  Being nestled on 17 acres in the Texas Hill Country, the mission was to utilize our open pastures and picturesque fields.  The idea was formed, and we collaborated with Brandy Hines Events and Designs from Comfort Texas.  She has been featured in Domino, Style Me Pretty Living, and Houzz.  She created the floral and design work for the shoot.  The emphasis was to hi-light the use of Gruene Estate’s natural beauty and bring a fresh perspective to a farm wedding.

Team work from other vendors pulled the shoot together, and helped to create a one of a kind photo session.  The innovative ladies at 2tarts bakery provided some amazing confectioneries.  Local artisan cheese master Gourmage, created tapas spreads to perfectly compliment the rustic feel and earthy tones of the shoot.  Celebrations Prom and Bridal in downtown New Braunfels provided the tuxedos and dresses.  Mintage Rentals came up with some unique vintage furniture and a tree swing to help us utilize the different spaces.  The day was captured perfectly by Anne Marie Photography.
