Gruene Estate Rustic Table Decor

We see so many different types of brides come through the doors at Gruene Estate.  Each one brings their own style and taste, and it is reflected in their decor and setup.  The differences are clearly seen in the type of table settings and center pieces that each bride chooses.

Whether its simple or elaborate, it's fun to see the personality of each couple reflected in the design. In house decor is included in our full wedding packages. As result, we have brides that will simply bring flowers to supplement our decor, or we have brides that will bring a U-haul full of their own decorations.  Since we are a covered open air venue on a historic farm, we naturally see a lot of rustic/vintage decor.  This fits in perfectly with our hand made reclaimed barn wood tables, hanging door chandeliers, and French country baskets.  We have combed through the last couple of years weddings to gather images from various events so you can see for yourself!

Jessica and Jake....A Gruene Estate Wedding!

Jessica and Jake were such a lovely couple to have at Gruene Estate!  This video by Purely Ruined Studios captures their day perfectly.  Jake loves to ride Harley's, and Jessica was even able to work into their vows that he would, "always where his helmet". Their getaway car was an awesome yellow 1950's power truck. Surrounded by friends and family, they said "I do" in Gruene Estate's original open air chapel!  The day was absolutely perfect!

Gruene Estates Vintage Chandeliers!

This is our fifth year doing weddings at Gruene Estate.  Looking back on all the weddings that we have done, it makes us so proud to be a part of so many wonderful memories.  The future is bright, and our goal is to continue to create a one of a kind wedding and event venue in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.  It is easy to stay the same, so we strive to be innovative and create a truly unique space.

On our yearly antique hunt, we came across a beautiful vintage chandelier that we thought would make a great addition to our in-house decor.  One wasn't enough, and after an exhaustive search, we found two more that fit Gruene Estates rustic vintage feel.  Several lighting setups were tried, but we felt that re-wiring them would be the best way to showcase the new pieces.  After many attempts, we were able to bring them back to life.  The expert electrician that rewired them, dated one of them to the mid 1800's!

Three vintage wood pulleys were installed in our gorgeous tree that overlooks a grassy lawn and fire pit area.  This space has gone unused in the past, and our chandeliers now create a focal point for this space to be utilized.  So far, brides have used the area as a food service station, cake table location, or just a general place for guest to enjoy the starry nights at Gruene Estate.  They have been a great addition to the venue, and we are excited for many more wonderful events!

Brian and Christy, A December Wedding!

We love winter weddings!  It's so much quiter around town, and that time of year is usually pretty mild in Central Texas.  Most people don't realize, but December is actually a good month for outdoor weddings here in the Hill Country.  Christy and Brian are New Braunfels locals, and we were so lucky to have them at Gruene Estate.  Their day was captured perfectly by Twinty Photography from Austin Texas.  There wedding had so many unique decorations and personal touches.  It was truly a beautiful event!

Gruene Estate is a wedding and event venue in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.  The original Gruene family homestead and 17 manicured acres create the perfect mix of country and chic.  Our one of a kind open air chapel and stained glass windows create the perfect place to say "I do"! We are currently booking for 2018, so call or email us today to schedule a tour!

Fun, easy, & relaxing.

Texas country charm is already built in.
