Gruene Estates Blog

Grant and Babette

One of the best parts of this job is knowing that we get to be part of making famalies.  Being part of somebodys once in a lifetime day is really a special privelege.  Our staff at Gruene Estate is busy behind the scenes trying to make each and every guests day as unique and special as possible.  We often miss out on a lot of the moments that make the day so much fun.  Since we cannot be everywhere at once, it is fun to see photographers blog post from the different events. Grant and Babette decided to do a destination wedding and settled on our venue which is located in Gruene Texas.  It's a great place to have destination wedding because your guest and friends can take advantage of the Guadalupe River, Gruene Hall, and Downtown New Braunfels.  They had their ceremony at our open air chapel and were surrounded by friends, family, and of course our longhorns Lucky and Peety.  It was a great day and we are so thankful to have been a part of it.  Click here to link to Lyncca Harvey's blog for a photo essay of the wonderful event.

Gruene Estate, A Hill Country Wedding Venue

I'm so happy to show you these beautiful rustic wedding photos at the Gruene Estate in Gruene, Texas. I loved second shooting this wedding with a very dear friend/sister of mine Alyse Lea Photography. This was the first time shooting almost 5 full rolls of film! I can’t even believe I did it, but it’s a start. I love how the film images are creamy and sharp at the same time. If you love the feel of these images its because they are mostly film since I was able to second shoot I was able to shoot more film than I normally do being able have more room for error. I highly suggest if you want to start shooting film to do it for weddings you second shoot once you have taken all of the pictures that your main photographer wants/needs you to do for them on digital, and of course always make sure it is okay with the main photographer.......Click Here To Link To Article

Chelsea and Jay...Beautiful Gruene Estate Wedding

Spring is finally here.  With all the rain we had early in the year and plenty of sunshine and cool weather, it came a little earlier then usual.  Everything is really turning green and we are in full wedding mode here at Gruene Estate.  One of the great aspects of working at Gruene Estate is that we have the unique privelege of getting to see most of our couples wedding pictures.  Gary Blake Photography came out and shot Jay and Chelsea's special day and did a great job capturing those special moments that really show you what the day was like.

We are so happy for Chelsea and Jay, and we wish them best of luck.  Their day was perfect as they were joined in marriage in Gruene Estate's open air chapel.  Upon conclusion of the ceremony, they danced the night away in our open air pavilion.  Their table decorations were spectacular, as they brought in tons of vintage dishes and colored glass bottles that made each place setting unique and memorable.  The Gruene Estate staff is so glad that we could be part of their special day.

Congratulations Natalia and Adam

Horses, paper punch garlands, vibrant floral arrangements, a beautiful couple deeply in love — this wedding has it all. Natalia and Adam exchanged vows at the stunning Gruene Estate in the most adorable open-air chapel, following by a colorful reception with heaps of handmade touches. Jessica Scott Photography and Rosehip Flora‘s work shine in this wedding!

Fun, easy, & relaxing.

Texas country charm is already built in.
